Download MT5 on your own PC or supported VPS. Log in to your broker demo inside MT5.
Grab UniversalXAUUSD_M5_Scalper.mq5 using the button above. Copy the file into your MT5 data folder → MQL5/Experts. Open MetaEditor and press F7 to compile.
In MT5: Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → tick 'Allow WebRequest for listed URL' and add our backend host so the EA can send heartbeats and license checks.
Drag the EA onto any chart of your broker's gold symbol (it always trades M5 internally). Paste the Activation Token from your dashboard and set InpBackendURL to the same backend host. Demo accounts only: live accounts are refused.
Within 30 seconds the dashboard changes from 'Awaiting heartbeat' to 'Demo connected', and the risk card shows why entries are allowed or blocked (session, news, spread, risk limits).
Copy the news CSV template into Common\Files and fill in high-impact USD events, then use 'Every tick based on real ticks'. The licence check is skipped only in the tester.
